Welcome to the most comprehensive repository of UAP and UFO Polling Data. This archive serves as a centralized hub for researchers, journalists, and enthusiasts to track the evolving discourse surrounding UAP transparency, scientific analysis, and legislative developments across the globe. Our scope includes all polls we have found over the years on this topic including those from top name polling firms like Gallup, Pew and YouGov as well as those published by lesser names.
This particular page is a small subset of the overall archive. Visit our UAP Polling Hub Page to view the complete archive.
Our focus is on building a complete catalog of public polling on the UAP topic from the past through the current year. As we conduct our daily searches for UAP related news as seen on our front page, it is relatively easy for us to identify and catalog the wide variety of UAP / UFO related polls as they are published. Our poll archive goes back to 2005 with this Gallup poll on the topic. While we retain links to these past events, be aware that some of these links will no longer point to an existing web page.

Individuals around the world report nonordinary experiences that stand out to them compared to their day-to-day or ordinary experiences. Yet, they can be appraised in very different ways, resulting in wellbeing and personal growth, or in marginalization and mental health problems. One challenge is that there are relatively few systematic efforts to explore possible appraisal processes and the overall contextual features of these experiences. In study 1, we report a validation and extension of a previously designed set of appraisal and contextual questions to the Inventory of Nonordinary Experiences, with a sample of Brazilian participants (N = 160). The study successfully validated all original appraisal categories with minor modifications and added nine new context and appraisal categories. In study 2, we conducted a prevalence study by administering these questions in a general population sample (N = 5,117) in which individuals reported on one of 38 nonordinary experiences. Most contextual features and appraisals followed a unimodal distribution approximating a normal distribution. This suggests that nonordinary experiences, however heterogeneous they may be, appear to be interpreted within the same set of beliefs and appraisals, in addition to sharing similar temporal characteristics. Furthermore, although 20% of participants reported an immediate negative impact and 25% reported some degree of suffering or discomfort from experiences, 51% evaluated experiences as promoting overall positive long-term life effects. These findings highlight the potential of human resilience and the complex role of nonordinary experiences vis-a-vis protective factors in promoting health. Our results provide new insights into consciousness states and their mental health and wellbeing implications.
American voters’ views on Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) shifted slightly in favor of a belief in visitations over human activity or natural phenomenon. A new survey finds 38.5% believe at least some can be attributed to extraterrestrial intelligence visiting Earth, while 32.4% think all can be explained by human activity or natural phenomenon.
A sizable 29.1% of all voters remain unsure. However, less than one-third (31.1%) told Big Data Poll in April 2018 that they believed UFO sightings can be attributed to extraterrestrial intelligence visiting Earth, and self-reported witnesses have also increased.
Nearly 2 in 10 (18%) American voters now claim to have “personally witnessed” an Unidentified Flying Object, up from 12% three years ago. Another 2 in 10 (20%) voters now say they know someone who sincerely believes they’ve witnessed a UFO. A significant majority, 58.6%, expressed a belief in intelligent lifeforms elsewhere in the universe and 62.0% say the U.S. government knows more about UFOs than it claims.
Have we established the first contact yet? 37% of Americans believe U.S. scientists or officials have made contact with aliens already, and 43% believe we are on the brink of breaking through to our extraterrestrial neighbors. There’s a lot of faith in how the government is handling our potential overlords, too, as 3 in 5 Americans say the government is taking UFOs and aliens just seriously enough.
In this national study—which is the first to thoroughlyexamine faculty evaluations, explanations, and experiences regarding UAP of which theauthors are aware—tenured and tenure-track faculty across 14 disciplines at 144 majorresearch universities (N = 1460) participated in a survey.
We put several UFO-themed questions to 1,000 voters following a series of unprecedented Congressional hearings and a NASA investigation into unidentified craft flying in our skies. More than seven in 10 Americans believe the Biden administration is withholding information about UFOs, a DailyMail.com poll has revealed. And nearly four in 10 think that Earth has been visited by aliens from another planet in the past fifty years, according to the survey.
